FILM TRAILER: THE REFLECTING POOL (2007)

Plagued by the ghosts of his Communist childhood and struggling with new responsibilities as an American journalist, Alex Prokop reluctantly accepts an assignment to verify the official version of the September 11th events. He solicits the advice of Paul Cooper, the father of a 9/11 victim, who jumps at the chance to bring the hidden facts of the tragedy to public attention. Together they conduct a series of eye-opening interviews with witnesses and professionals involved in the attacks. Initially skeptical, Alex gradually loses faith in the government's version of 9/11 as the official explanation of the attacks crumbles under basic inquiry.

          As New York came under attack on September 11th 2001, janitor William Rodriguez bravely remained in the North Tower to help save dozens of lives. He has been honored five times by the White House. After the 9/11 attacks, William helped coordinate the efforts of survivors' and victim's families to lobby the US government to hold an inquiry into what happened that day. When it came to give evidence, he was one of the only witnesses the 9/11 Commission heard behind closed doors. Throughout February 2007 Willie was touring and speaking in the UK.
